Thin Fabric for Cost- medium quality, high price

"I just purchased these and they are thinner than those I bought a couple of years ago. The fabric on these is VERY thin and there is now way they will last, even with the same delicate care. Did tariffs cause a material change to save costs? If this is the case, and Everlane’s quality is forever changed, then company transparency is no longer being practiced. I also am afraid I this means that Everlane can no longer be trusted as a company that provides high quality products. I am very disappointed as long customer and hope that more transparency is forthcoming about the future of Everlane."

Comfortable and stretchy and lovely!

"These are beautiful! I've been a fan of sustainable, clean-line underwear for a while and Everlane's black bikini-cut is my usual staple. When it was out of stock, I gambled on the thong cut. It is LOVELY- a grand start on my foray into thong underwear, comfortable and crisp and perfect. I would recommend drying on a clothesline / shower pole to maintain the hem integrity, but other than that, no notes! The bikini cut set has lasted me 4 years. I expect this thong to do the same :) thanks, Everlane, for blessing my life 2x!"

poor quality and fit

"bought this underwear due to all the positive 5 star reviews. unfortunately, I did not receive a positive experience. purchased 3 and had to throw all 3 underwears away due to poor quality fit and material. the material is very thin, does not hold well to your hips--very flimsy. of course looses its shape after the first wash. ended up throwing away all 3. tried to reach out to customer service but no contacy. what a loss of money!"

Not super comfortable

"This thong is too skinny in the crotch area. Makes me feel like I’m getting a wedgie. Wishing I’d ordered 1 to try instead of 3. I prefer the high waisted thong. That style is very comfortable. Too bad Everlane can’t keep it in stock in my size (medium)."

"I have only bought and worn 100% cotton, so I am pleased at how comfortable these are. The fit is perfect. However, they are so thin and skimpy that I cannot imagine them lasting the decades that my old thongs have lasted, let alone years, even with hand-washing only."
