That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. "These pants are so cute! Gotta say tho, in my regular size they are stiff and tight around the waist. Took a few wears to break them in and now they fit like a glove. If you don't like the glove fit or break in period, may want to go up a size. Otherwise they are great!"

"I got these jeans on sale and was nervous about the 29” inseam as someone who is 5’ tall. When I tried on the jeans, I was pleasantly surprised that I wouldn’t need to hem them. The length looks cute as a long pant or cuffed, depending on my shirt and shoe choice. I was looking for a good light wash jean, and I’m happy with this color- it’s a classic. I also love the weight and rigidity of the fabric (I hate any elastic in jeans and prefer a stiff jean), and I really like the button fly (which I prefer over a zip). There is a small waist gap but not to the point where I feel tailoring is needed."

"I had mixed feelings with these jeans. I was looking for a roomy, wide leg, jeans. These do come roomy and wide leg, but somehow the fit overwhelmed my petite frame and was not flattering. I wanted to like it but I just couldn’t get passed the frumpy look on me. I’m sure it would look better on someone who is taller (I’m 5’4” and petite). Had to return."
"Ive owned and loved this Jean in another wash so I bought the same size 26 in the rich indigo wash but it seems to run a size smaller. This is too tight in the hips so now I can’t wear or return because it was on final sale. Really frustrating."
