Great dress - wearable almost year round

"For those debating on buying this now that it’s discounted and unreturnable, the one measurement that matters is bust measurement of the garment and your bust size. I got a medium and it fits with layering a t-shirt underneath. The dress falls to low mid calf on me (5’ 3”). It is voluminous but I like trapeze-style dresses and removed the belt loops. I’m short waisted so if I want to use the sash, I would tie it lower than where the belt loops are but I got lots of compliments wearing without sash. The material is heavyweight but that makes it wearable with layering in cooler weather. It might be a bit much for super hot weather but the wide skirt allows for airflow so it’s not as stifling as one might think. I’m kind of tempted to buy another one to dye it another color."

"I bought this because it looked cute and delicate. The fabric is very sturdy, like workwear material, so it’s very stiff and not flowy like a normal dress. It’s also very large, so just unflattering."

"bottom is huge while top was so tight I couldn't breathe, and my bust was so squished they were flat like pancakes. Have no idea who these dresses were made to fit."

Surprisingly very happy

"This is a great dress for me. I had some reservations when ordering it but none of them came fruition. This is a very versatile dress. Living in the Pacific Northwest I consider it such a great fall/winter dress. The material is very substantial but drapes very nicely. It has become my go to dress. I wore it with a wool turtleneck when I went to pick apples. Indoors with a shirtsleeve t-shirt. You can wear it with or without the belt and also it could be tied in back for different look was unsure of the pockets when I saw them in the photos. I almost didn’t buy it because I thought they would get in the way. I like to be active and have had pockets that catch on handles, branches etc. but these lay flat and are huge. No need for purse. The material is like denim but not stiff. It is VERY well made with subtle detail. I find it very comfortable. I am 5’5 and it comes almost to my ankles which is great for this time of year. I don’t anticipate that I will wear it in the heat of the summer though."

Weird fit, impractical

"This dress makes no sense. The fabric is so thick and rigid it can practically stand up on its own, so it’s not a great summer dress. And the skirt is so wide it makes you look enormous, even with the sash tied at the waist. But the chest is oddly tight. Really don’t know what everlane was thinking with this one."

Perfection

"I love this dress. I love the sturdy but soft fabric that feels like it will last forever, and just enough structure that makes me feel great. I wear it both loose and belted throughout the day which gives two totally different looks. The colors are gorgeous. And the pockets are everything, and can hold everything. I wear this dress most days of the week now so I bought another. It makes me feel that much like my best self. A++++ to the designers."
