"In general, the coat is nicely built and well-sewn; what was frustrating was the introduction of the final sale by Everlane, which contributes to wastefulness. Because sizing is not the same across even Everlane's range, this means there are high chances that the size would be wrong. With the introduction of the final sale practice, it became impossible to return an item that does not fit well. I personally decided to stop purchasing on final sale altogether because the costs outweigh the results."

"For the price, you can’t beat it. Zipper takes a few runs to break in and takes some getting used to, but it is very sturdy. Love the hand-warmer pockets up top, the big cargo pockets on the bottom and the snap buttons. The coat is very warm and stylish."

"The zipper sucks so bad it’s nearly impossible to close this thing. It jams and it’s so finicky I won’t be buying another jacket from everlane. I’d sent it back but it was final sale with no returns allowed so now I’m stuck with a jacket I have to spend 5 minutes fighting with the zipper to get it to close."
