The Cleanest Denim You'll Find.

Conventional denim production is dirty business and we’re on a mission to clean it up. Here's how we're doing it differently—and why that matters for you.

Better Is Our Starting Point

Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.

The Only Toxic We Appreciate Is the Song

We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.

Measured, Not Marketing

We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.

Can't Have Quality Without Standards

Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

Best Shorts Ever!

"I love these shorts so much! They're flattering for my hourglass figure and very comfortable. Not to mention they fulfill my 90's dreams. The denim seems to be high quality and will work for a number of outfits."

Great shorts

"These are the perfect jean shorts. Comfortable, durable, cute."

Margaret B. (5/5)

not the style for me

"the material is thinner than expected (compared to the jeans, to me) and i'm finding the A-line style just does not suit me or my taste"

Aniko L. (2/5)

"Love the cut of these shorts. The A line is flattering and I like the finished hem."

Ansley (5/5)

Sellout

"Last purchase from everlane. Would never ever support SHEIN and child labor and all other disasters related to fast fashion. So much for transparency and sustainability. I guess everlanes ethos was always just a facade, dependent on highest bidder"

Danielle N. (1/5)
