Shrinks. A Lot.
"When you first try this on, this is the best cardigan. It's thin but keeps you warm and fits like a dream. It feels like quality. But even when you wash it according to the instructions and reshape it, it shrinks so much that it becomes a bandeau top and you can barely put your arms through it. I have un-shrunk wool and cashmere sweaters before but even my witchcraft could not bring this back to its original shape. It's a shame, otherwise I would want everything merino from Everlane."

not worth the price
"very beautiful material. i looked forward to wearing this a long time, but its super flimsy. the delicate fabric feels lovely against my skin, especially now that it's the end of the summer, but this is not going to last me more than a month. I'm very disappointed with everlane as this is a very expensive sweater."

Beautiful, luxuriously soft cardigan
"A feather-weight, gorgeous, super-soft cardigan. The color is perfect and it will coordinate well with skirts or high-waisted pants for fall. Fits close to the body, best worn with little underneath (ie just a bra or cami)."

Shrank despite washing per instructions
"I've shopped all my basics from Everlane for the last few years now, and this is my first bad experience with a product purchased from this store. This cardigan pilled within the first couple of wears but I made my peace with that, since I bought this item on sale and thought perhaps that's why. However, after a few washes, the cardigan is now completely unwearable because it has shrunk horribly. I had even sized up on this one based on other reviews. This is very upsetting, since the reason we pay for sustainable clothing brands is because the clothes last long, and that helps us get out of the habit of buying tons of clothes. Now I have to buy another cardigan because this one simply doesn't fit anymore."

Favorite sweater
"This is a beautiful sweater. It's so light and delicate, you can see your hand through it when you hold it up to the light. It's soft and warm, with a beautiful texture to the weave, and not itchy at all. The little pearly white buttons are perfect accessories and stand out again the burgundy. I will be looking for more of the ultrafine merino from Everlane in the future!"
