Our Butterlite fabric is made from 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell. Known for its smoothness and durability, TENCEL™ Lyocell is a man-made cellulosic fiber extracted from FSC and PEFC-certified responsible wood sources. Lenzing, the producer of TENCEL™ Lyocell, has achieved the highest rating from CanopyStyle for clean chemistry use and water recycling. Based on third-party certified lifecycle assessments, TENCEL™ Lyocell is over 50% less emissions intensive, compared to conventional lyocell.
