Description

Hey shorty

We took our favorite military-inspired liner and made it shorter for easy layering. Made entirely from 100% recycled polyester*, The Quilted Liner is lightweight, packable, and perfect for easy cold-weather layering. Plus, it features a classic crew neckline, snap fastening, handy side pockets, and a quilted design. Wear it as a standalone jacket or layer it under a coat for extra warmth without the weight. *Some of the snaps and trim aren’t 100% recycled, but we’re working on it. We’ve eliminated 90% of the virgin plastic from our supply chain. Learn about what we’ve done—and the challenges ahead—on our No New Plastic page.

Reviews

Looks very different in person

"Color (Merlot) was much brighter and material was shiny (which is not shown in online photo). It looks like a stadium sports jacket which isn’t what I was going for. Will return"

Useful and trendy

"The quilted liner is a light jacket purchased for my wife. The shade of green is trendy, length and fit are on point and the pockets are placed in a way that makes the jacket useful and fashionable. It was a hit."

James M. (5/5)

Great Jacket!

"I love Everlane's quilted liner. So much so I have it in 3 colors! They're not too heavy and provide a good amount of warmth. I also love the pockets where I can put items (phone & keys) in them from the top or put hands in them from the side to keep them warm. It does fit a little larger than your usual size, but I like being able to wear a bulky sweater underneath."

Patricia M. (5/5)

LOVING, LOVING, LOVING THIS COAT

"I have 3 of these coats. They are the best and you don’t see anything like it anywhere else. They are warm and comfortable. I hope Everlane continue to sell this coat."

Quilted Liner Thoughts

"Beautiful jacket but much heavier than I expected for a jacket titled liner. It does run a bit large."

Caroline B. (3/5)

Beautiful quilt liner

"As other reviews suggested, size down. I didn’t listen, and originally ordered an M which I usually wear in outerwear to have enough hip/thigh room. Well, I should have listened as I needed to exchange it for a small. It runs quite large and even the small is plenty roomy for layering. The coat is very nice quality and a bit heavier/more substantial than I expected. It will be a great fall/spring piece. I will open the snaps carefully as I would hate to have them pull out."

Debra S. (5/5)

Better than expected

"I’ve worn this jacket non-stop since I received it. It’s the perfect weight when it’s above freezing. The olive color goes with everything. In my opinion, the jacket is true to size. I am between a XS and Small and based on other reviews that it was oversized, I got the XS. I think the sleeves are a smidge short if you size down and it’s not as comfy in the arms and shoulders f you want to wear a bulky sweater or hoodie underneath. Something to consider depending on what you like to wear. The two-way pockets are my favorite feature."

Jane G. (5/5)

Just want I wanted for a transition coat

"Exactly what I wanted in a quilted, mid-thigh transition coat for Toronto early spring (and hopefully fall). Navy is a real navy. I ordered a medium and its generous but gives me the look I want."

Kirsty P. (5/5)

Too large. . .

"Beautiful item, unfortunately runs big"

Sigal A. (5/5)

Beautiful Warm Jacket

"I purchased this liner in the Kalamata color. This jacket is very well made, nice and warm, but the size I ordered (I used the size guide to figure out my size based on my body measurements) was just too big. So I returned it, and ordered the next size down. I hope it will fit me because this is a jacket I would wear for many years! There are a few retailers that provide measurements of the GARMENTS that they sell. I sure wis that Everlane did, because my returns are always based on sizing."
