"I read reviews and decided to order these despite others saying fit was off. I am a solid 9. 5, ordered this size because most said they were true to size. Turns out these are narrow and feel snug. Length is ok. I do not find the heel cup to be wildly large. I can't even wear these at this point. I am trying to stretch wearing them with big socks around the house, but they are squeezing and numbing my feet. I will probably take them to a cobbler to be stretched professionally. They literally feel like a 9. As far ad style, they are cute-ish, but the top view leaves me wishing I would have selected another brand. Lug loafers should be stout. These have a long vamp and pointed toe. Wish it was more rounded and a little square. This is just a penny loafer looking shoe from the top with a thick sole. Got them on final sale and I was so excited because I have been looking at them for a long time. Everlane if you make another chunky loafer, consider an edgier profile with rounded toe if not square. A bigger toe box would be great."

"Like many others, I had fit issues with these. I started with my usual 7. 5, but they were way too tight. I went up a half size to 8 and still too tight. So I finally ordered a full size up - 8. 5 and they are huge! Won’t even stay on my feet. I don’t get it and am really disappointed because otherwise they look great. :("

"I used to believe Everlane was a brand that cared about quality and customer satisfaction, but my recent experience has completely shattered that impression. I purchased a pair of loafers that are not only unbearably uncomfortable but also don’t fit properly—despite following their sizing recommendations. After just one wear, I reached out to customer service, expecting at least some level of flexibility or understanding. Instead, I was met with a rigid, unhelpful return policy and zero willingness to make an exception. For a company that markets itself as transparent and ethical, their customer service is anything but. A truly customer-focused brand would stand behind its products, especially when they cause pain or fit issues. Instead, Everlane has made it clear they prioritize policy over people. If you’re considering buying shoes from them, don’t. Their return policy is strict, their sizing is unreliable, and their customer support is dismissive. I won’t be shopping here again, and I’d advise others to think twice before doing so."
