Love the coat, hate SHEIN
"This is a great coat. It's too bad that Everlane has lost all credibility as a brand after being sold to SHEIN. So, this will be my last Everlane purchase. Bummed!"

"There’s a lot to like about this jacket. The fabric is lovely—soft yet substantial. The proportions seem right (arm length vs chest width vs back length). And the construction—lining, stitches—is solid. Where the jackets falters is details. Why the different fabric collar? What cold be a chic city coat is now an elevated barn jacket, and I believe they are different things. The patch pockets seem too casual for such pretty wool. So it depends what you’re looking for. Elevated casual jacket this is a gem. A pretty alternative to a classic black coat—no so much."
"Love this coat. Style is exactly what I wanted in a wool coat. Room for layering underneath so I can wear a sweater and a scarf. The sleeves are a bit on the long side which is why I’m giving 4 stars (I am petite 5’1 and ordered an XS) so if you are taller it’s probably fine for you. Overall great coat."
"The coat is well made and the material was good. But I was looking for one to replace another coat that was heavier and warmer. Ended up returning the coat."
"I was excited about this jacket, but in person the fabric felt cheap, almost like polyester. It was rough and the herringbone pattern was barely visible. It also felt fairly thin - I don't think it would be that warm. Def not a $350 coat. Returned."
"This coat reminds me of coats I had decades ago. Dresses up or dresses down. Hits at a comfortable length just enough room for a warm sweat sweater under it without looking sloppy or too oversized. The coat has very high-quality workmanship. There just isn’t anything to not like about this coat."
"I love how classy looking this coat is. I took away a star because I thought it would be warmer. It’s a thin coat, feels more like a blazer. I bought a medium so I could layer underneath it. I definitely can wear a couple warmer layers underneath"
"The look and fit of the coat is exactly what I wanted- hits around mid-thigh (I’m 5’3 for reference), which I feel is a good length that layers well with skirts. I love how it offers the sophistication of a blazer while also giving a laid back/cozy vibe. I adore this piece and will definitely reach for it fall/early winter. I sized down based on reviews and am happy with my selection. Only con is the outer material is a bit scratchy and not as smooth as it appears in the photos. I don’t mind too much since it doesn’t have direct contact with my skin."
"Runs slightly big. I typically wear a M and bought a S for a more tailored look. . . still with room for long-sleeves underneath. The color is perfect. Material is structured, but soft and comfortable. Considering getting it in the other color!"
"Love this oversized car coat. I was looking for a winter coat that would allow me to layer over a warm sweater. This coat is perfect for that. Nice longer sleeve length is especially helpful for us long armed women."
