Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"I'm not sure who Everlane uses as a fit model, but these are all wrong. While the waistline fastens comfortably, there is so much excess fabric around the fly area, when I sit down it puffs out and looks ridiculous. They are also baggy through the leg and knee — nothing like in the photo. Of course they were final sale and now I'm stuck with them. Take my advice: don't waste your money!"
"These jeans might be my favorite pair I own! The color is true to the photo, the length is perfect. I m 5’3 and these hit just above my ankles. The pockets are great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because after 1 wear they stretch out a bit! Enough to notice but not enough where I need a belt or I keep having to pull them up! "This fits loose in my opinion, and I went by the size chart. So I would recommend sizing down one size. I like these, they feel like real denim, even though they stretch a lot. Very high waisted, only a problem for me since I am short, but then again, I didn't have to hem them! :) Always tricky, finding your right size, but once you do, you're on your way. Fit is similar to Curvy Cheeky original Jean."
