Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"For the positives, it's a great classic denim material, well made, and nice shape. Unfortunately, the waist is curved as if it supposed to fit as a high rise but the rise is only long enough to fit as a mid rise. It falls at the wider part of my hips, a couple of inches below my belly button, and feels a bit odd with the curved waist that doesn't reach my natural waist. For reference, I'm 5'6" with a relatively long torso."

"I'm going to be so honest, I have three pairs of these jeans. I bought a pair of these in the non-cropped version in 2023 that I'm devastated to no longer fit in anymore (college bod vs office worker bod). That, and I have an old pair of everlane "super soft wide leg jean" jeans that I still love absolutely dearly that I've worn through and have holes in the inner thighs now and someday hope to have someone repair. At this point, I've learned my lesson. I bought three. I get so many compliments and they go with just about everything. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw these were on sale."

"I have the mariner corduroys from last season. So took the risk to buy these on final sale. They fit great. Pockets are large and so are flattering (on your backside). And I like that there are no front pockets to keep it a nice clean silhouette for a wide leg. And of course the large cuff at bottom."
