That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"I liked almost everything about this top. The fabric feels excellent for the price, and the overall quality is impressive for such a low-cost denim piece. My only real issue is the weird faux patch pocket, which looks strange and was distracting enough that I had to paint over it with fabric dye to make it disappear. Aside from that odd detail, it’s a great buy."
"Material is a little rough and stiff, but this allows top to fall away from my torso's curves. Should be a popular year around layering tool with a variety of colors depending on season and weather. Would be good if it was just a bit longer in the length, but can work with this length."

Since it's a final online purchase, I went to the Everlane store on Black Friday, and showed a picture to an employee asking if I can try on something similar to this style? From there I picked my size (L) and they ordered it for me with FREE shipping!!!!! The tunic is true to size. I wear it with a tank or tee underneath, to prevent showing my girls. I plant to keep this tunic for year to come. My only complaint is, I wish the front opening wasn't so low, that I could wear it without an under garment."

If you only could do more tops and bottoms that look like expensive clothing, you could sell separately or together. I was in retail!"
