Reviews

The Boxy Shirt in Washable Silk

"I was sent the wrong shirt (the long sleeved version of this shirt) which really disappointed me. I have the linen versions of the above and decided to try the silk which is a really beautiful material and I would highly recommend purchasing it. I only wish I had received the above style."

Jennifer L. (5/5)

Pretty……but

"The shirt was nice but not fabulous as the hefty price tag would make you think. I kept it because it was the right color."

Julie S. (3/5)

Stained without wearing once

"Beautiful shirt but I don't think I'll ever be able to wear it due to the two tiny stains on the front. The shirt arrived folded with creases so deep I couldn't get them out with an iron or steamer. I hand-washed and hung to dry, then gently ironed on the silk setting but these spots appeared. I tried stain-treating and then machine-washing but they're still there! I haven't even worn the shirt! This material will pick up all moisture and leave a stain."

Rebekka K. (3/5)

A little too oversized

"I bought a size 6, but should've gone with 4. It's a little too oversized. Looks kind of sloppy. I removed the tags before I realized unfortunately."

Thandi F. (5/5)

Comfortable and attractive

"Lovely shirt. Spilled coffee on it while I was on the train, was not able to put it in the washer (on cold) until that night, and it still looked great the next day. Just needed a little steam. The stain was gone. (I sized up a little too much. I ordered a medium but I could have ordered a small. )"

Lisa R. (5/5)

Why did I wait so long?

"I've been eyeing this shirt for years - finally bought one on sale. I don't know why I waited so long but it's a medium weighted silk, drapes beautifully, and is so flattering. This won't be my last - and I won't wait so long to get my next shirt!"

j h. (5/5)

Very disappointed

"Not in the shirt, but in Everlane, for selling itself to Shein of all places. It is unconscionable. I will NEVER buy Everlane again."

Sierra B. (1/5)

"Love these boxy shirts: the cut is flattering, the fabric is lovely and low maintenance and it goes with so many things. This is my second striped one."

Joanne (5/5)

Wish there were inbetween sizes

"This is a high quality silk blouse. The color of the stripes is slightly blue-purple. The collar is not too large, thus not overwhelming my small frame. It drapes nicely. It's an easy staple piece for work. Taking off one star because the size jump from 6 to 8 is huge. 6 gives a cropped length and requires no tuck-in but is tight for me in the arm sleeves. The 8 is swimmingly large, has way too much fabric at the hip, so I have to tuck in for it not to look sloppy. I wish they made a 7 or an in-between size. The jump between 6 and 8 really makes the two sizes a very different cut and blouse."

Hanul B. (4/5)

Silk boxy shirt

"Shoulders are too droopy and the collar/ lapels used to be open/ flat against the shirt."
