Featuring the same extra-high rise, easy straight leg, and butt-boosting fit as our ’90s Cheeky® Jean, the ’90s Cheeky® Hourglass Jean is specifically designed for hourglass shapes
That means we adjusted the hip-to-waist ratio to create a form-hugging fit through the hip and thigh. Fits close at the waist, so we recommend sizing up if you prefer more ease. And in true ’90s fashion, it’s made from premium non-stretch Japanese denim for that vintage-inspired look.

Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.
