We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"I purchased a pair of Everlane jeans about 2 months ago, waist 29. They fit well, very comfortable. so I purchased this pair, final sale, same size. The waist is 2 inches smaller, I measured it with a tape measure. I can't button them comfortably. I would have returned them for a 30 if I could have."

I hope Everlane brings them back. The white and weathered blue colors run true to size, the indigo blue runs about a half size smaller and doesn’t stretch at all.
