Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"The jeans are great, but I feel incredibly betrayed by the brand's decision to sell out to SHEIN. I may have to cut off all of the logo tags from every item that I've purchased. Needless to say, I will be shopping elsewhere moving forward."

I got them discounted & unable to return-shame on me, but shame on Everlane for their incorrect sizing chart - it's off the charts. 1) they were at least 2 sizes too big. Yes, I used the sizing chart - my natural waist is 30", low waist 33" & hips 35. 5" - I ordered the 29 as suggested. 2) they feel exactly like what I'm trying to avoid. I want jeans to feel like jeans, not yoga pants. So very sad I wasted my hard earned $$ on these. Guess I'll gift them to a family member or friend."
