Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"Everlane sizing in pants/ shorts is kind of all over the place. I am a 27/28 in pants size, and always go with a 26 in Everlane since they tend to run large. Reviews for these said to size up, but I stuck with my normal size and they make me look like I am wearing a diaper. Strange cut, not like other Wayhigh pants that I have multiple pairs of. Bummed they are final sale."
"I snapped these up at 70% off because I thought 'why not'? I ordered my usual size, and I have about 5 pairs of Everlane jeans, all in 26. These are true to size but do have a waist gap while being snug around my butt and thighs. I can sit and walk and they're comfy enough, but I'm hoping they break in a bit more over time and become a bit softer and stretch out a tad, that would make them perfect. Would I be happy to pay full price for these? No. But on sale, they're great value."

"I love these! They are just long enough and the perfect denim. They do fit more snug because they are cotton, and I’m happy with that. I know that the denim will stretch a bit over time, but if you prefer more give, maybe do a size up. I like a tighter fit. I’m 5’10, 25 waist, 36 hip and got size 25. "I bought the darker color after LOVING these Way High shorts in Bone. The material and length are great, I was really disappointed that they are almost a completely different fit than the Bone despite being the same size. The Bone fits perfectly through my hips, waist, and butt. These are huge everywhere except the thighs and have a big waist gap. Love the length and the color, but I’ll probably have to get them taken in to wear them comfortably."
