Our most functional, travel-friendly backpack
The ReNew 15" Transit Backpack features a 15" exterior laptop pocket for easy TSA access, catch-all zip pockets for passports and tickets, interior slip pockets for magazines and notebooks, one interior and one exterior water bottle holder, a handy magnetic closure, and a pass-through strap that attaches to rolling luggage. Oh, and it’s made using 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles.* *The zipper sliders and some of the pulls are metal, but other zipper pulls are recycled polyester. The only new plastic is for the zipper coil (teeth), which is not made from recycled material—yet. We’ve eliminated 90% of the virgin plastic from our supply chain. "So far the bag has held up very well to daily use and extensive travel. The zippers are smooth, there are enough pockets and it holds everything I need when traveling. The top magnets don't always fit when packed to the brim so the top flap can get in the way with a breeze and the fabric is not very water repellent."
Good for airline travel
"Purchased for airline travel and worked well on my first trip with it. Switching from a shoulder carry travel bag to make walking between connections more comfortable, but not look like a hiking pack. Fits under the seat. Proportioned well for my 5'4" height. Straps are comfortable and the top handle allows the pack to be easily carried on/off the plane. Details missing for me are strap keepers to keep the straps from dangling and security loops on zippers."

I just wish the water bottle pocket was on the right (I am right handed and would like to be able to reach it without taking off the backpack), and that the smaller pockets were more accessible in a pinch (e. g. , to get a wallet or lip balm out without using the inside small pocket or taking off the backpack)."
