Why It's Better. This garment is made of responsible alpaca and wool, blended with GRS-certified recycled nylon. The alpaca and wool in this garment are certified to the Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) and Responsible RWS Standard (RWS) respectively, to ensure that alpaca and sheep wool comes from farms that manage their land with a progressive approach, practice holistic respect for the animals, and follow the Five Freedoms of animal welfare. The standard also maintains a strong chain of custody for certified materials as they move through the supply chain to guarantee visibility, protect soil health, biodiversity, and native species on all RAS and RWS farms, as well as adhere to strict social welfare practices for the health and safety of workers.
