a massive parachute

"I ordered one size down from my regular size, based off other reviews, and on the size chart. I am usually a size 27/ size 6, but I ordered these in a size 4.   They just arrived today and I tried them on right away. They are huge, like, an 8" gap between my actual waist and the pants. They are so big they look like a parachute, which was very surprising because I used the sizing chart, and made sure to measure before I ordered.   They aren't wearable unfortunately.   I reached out to Everlane to let them know about the inconsistent sizing, and hoping they will offer me a solution as every pair of pants I ordered on this order had the same problem.   The material is super lightweight which would make them great for summer, but they are gigantic on me, so they look like a giant white parachute. It's actually kind of comical how massive they are. I would probably need a 0, but even then the width in the hips is insane."

Great lightweight pants

"I was trying to find summer pants that were easy to wear and these are it. They can be dressed up or down and are so comfy."

Comfy but runs extra big

"These are comfy pants that can be dressed up or dressed down. Unfortunately, they run very large. My tailor has a lot to take in. I’m normally a 00 at Everlane and these were like three sizes too big in the waist. (Length is always too long at my shortness so that’s never taken into consideration when judging clothes). These would be great if you could size down!"

Amazing summer pants

"Light cotton, very comfortable in summer weather. I bought two pairs, black and navy and interchanged all summer including travelling. On a trip to NYC my teenage son looked at me and said “those pants are fire”. I wasn’t a fan of the belt, they’re amazing without with the pleats creating a really stylish spacious comfortable front."

Love them

"They fit great around the waist, rear. They’re a little long so I think I’ll just put a few stitches around the leg openings to make them cuffed. Don’t care for the belt but that’s easily removed. Very comfortable, too!"

Great pants!

"The fabric is a little thinner than I antiicipated, but still feels good as office wear. It's thin enough to be a drapey rather than a stiff chino. I ironed the pants after recieveing them, and that helped with the pleats. I'm 48 with a tummy, so the pleats in the front look good from some angles but not others."

A well made staple

"Love these. I got them in black and dark blue. It took awhile for me to figure out the right sizing for Everlane bottoms. I ordered 6, and then 4, and finally settled on 2 because it fits my waist the best. Definitely look at the measurements, particularly with wide leg pants. You can size WAY down because of the wider width in the hip and thighs if you have a smaller waist."
