"I was wary to size up on this skirt, because I am hourglass shaped so a waist that is disproportionately smaller still usually fits just fine. Well, I trusted my fellow reviewers and am glad that I did: I am a true size 6 and this size 8 BARELY fits in the waist. It definitely fits more like some size 4s that I have, if not even smaller. Other than the small waist, the quality is good, it looks nice, and I look forward to layering it this fall."
"The perfect pleated skirt - I will be wearing this at least weekly in spring, winter, and fall! The sizing is way off, though - I'm comfortably a size 4/6 in Everlane clothing, and I am glad I sized up after reading the reviews for this one - I purchased a size 8 (the only item of clothing I've ever bought in this size!) and it's borderline snug. Like previous reviewers have mentioned, there's no give on the waistband. Definitely size up, at least one size. The design is gorgeous, so I am glad I purchased and that it fits!"
"Everlane size shrank drastically. Size 12 feels on border between 10 and 8. But since the item is not returnble, I am stuck with "size 12" item, that is really small. I used to shope with Everlane since 2015, and I loved their true to size approach. This is the second item that I purchased that is really, significantly small and feels like size 8."
