"This is my favorite dress of all time. I have it in three colorways - I have the white, black, and the brown/black striped. The fact that I can cinch the waist is a great detail, it steams like a dream, just a workhorse of a dress. Love the pockets, too!"

It isn't so precious that I feel like I need to save it for special occasions. I picked the white and I wear a slip underneath, but it seems pretty opaque. I'm 5'6"" and a mini hourglass figure at 135 pounds. The medium fits loosely comfortable as I hoped without gapping buttons. I'm wearing it in the summer with wedges and cowboy boots, I plan to wear it in winter with thick black tights and black boots."

"Online, I love the look of this dress and it’s simplicity (as I typically do with most items from Everlane). However, I was disappointed when I tried this dress on. It’s almost see-through, so much so, that I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it out in public, let alone to work. I'm going to try and salvage it by seeing if I can by an undergarment slip, but don't know how it will fit underneath this dress. In the online photo, it doesn't look see-through, but even against my pale complected skin, you can easily see my undergarments. First time being disappointed by an Everlane purchase. We can't always bat a thousand, though!"
