Reviews
the fours runs big
"I altered mine from the armpit to the pocket. then took darts in the back. I was unwilling to alter the sides past the pockets as that calls for a bunch of reconstruction. Because the fabric does not stretch, this can not be form fitting. in a hot climate this is a wonderful thing. I find your pants run small and the dresses run big. everything is made super well which makes altering more difficult."

xs runs BIG
"took a risk and ordered this from a final sale, ordered a regular XS size but the dress is way too wide in chest, customer service wont help"

Not good if you’re petite
"If you are 5’2 and under, I would not recommend this. I also agree with some of the other reviews that said the inner lining of the dress only comes down halfway and puffy towards the bottom. I would prefer if it either went all the way down or it just didn’t exist at all."

Linen V-Neck Maxi Dress
"This is not my favorite garment. Although well constructed, some things just don't make sense, in particular the way in which the dress is lined. I've never had a lining shift around so much when I'm moving about doing normal things -- I'm in the 70s so I ain't doing nuthin' too flamboyant! The armholes gap in the front. Perhaps it will work better as a winter-season dress, with a v-neck, long-sleeved t-shirt underneath. However, the fabric has a lovely hand and keeps its shape while worn. It launders beautifully."

loose, light linen
"The top is a bit weird…the armholes stick out, so I’ll have to take them in a bit. I love the light linen - the colour is crisp and subtle, and I’m a sucker for a sleek maxi dress. I went with the bigger size for more room in the hips, and opted to do some alteration on the top. Pockets always a win."

Looks great and so comfortable
"Absolutely love this dress. I got it for a specific occasion, but unfortunately shipping was delayed and it didn’t arrive on time. I thought I would return it, but once I tried it on it was so comfortable (especially in the east coast humidity) and looked great, I kept it and have worn it for both an evening out at a beachside restaurant and casual days chasing my toddler at the playground. It keeps me cool, hangs just right, and the pockets are a bonus for any mum! I’m 5’9” and typically wear a size US 18. I ordered the XXL and could probably size down to the XL, but I like the extra roominess and flow and despite the straight cut it does not look like I’m wearing a shapeless sack."
