Love the design, sadly construction quality is disappointing

"This is a great loafer that Everlane has been making for a few years. I am finding that the quality of the construction in their shoes has declined. I own many Everlane shoes and they have held up very well over several years, and the fit was great. This pair and a previous pair I recently purchased gap at the sides, especially when walking, which never happened before, the look and function of the shoe is poor. . I hope they will return to their pervious quality because I love Everlane and the design of their shoes is great! Sadly it was final sale, so I cannot return."

Beautifully made, just not good for my feet.

"I really loved these shoes. They are well made of high quality materials. I’ve bought other Everlane shoes in size 8 that fit fine, but given that the leather is stiff and I have bunions, they hurt too much to wear so I sent them back. Like a lot of people with bunions, I have trouble finding workable shoes. I imagine they would be fine for someone without my problems, however."

"When it looks nice in photo but it looked a bit inexpensive side. Very hard feel and needs some break ins. I might need to take it for stretching at the cobbler. Not sure if the leather color will age darker and prettier in months but wish I had not purchased."
