That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"Overall I think they're great. Love the color. Can be dressed up and down. The sizing of Everlane jeans is a bit weird. I'm usually a 27 but I bought the Way High Sailor jeans last year and they were huge, I had to exchange for a 25. And let me tell you, I am NOT a 25. This time I checked their sizing guide and my measurements would have had me choose a 31. This didn't sound right, so I got a 27 and still a bit big!"
"I've had many pairs of Everlane jeans. All have been great, but most tend to be too short and they rarely offer lengths. These jeans are perfection. Especially with bootcut style being back (which has always been my style). They are the perfect length. Nicely fitted through waist, legs and hips with a nice flare at the bottom. They don't look awkward on the backside, which a lot of high rise jeans do. They nailed it with these. Please make more colors! For reference, I'm 5'8 and 130lbs. 27 fits perfectly. No squeezing and no gapping."
