The Cleanest Denim You'll Find.

Conventional denim production is dirty business and we’re on a mission to clean it up. Here's how we're doing it differently—and why that matters for you.

Better Is Our Starting Point

Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.

The Only Toxic We Appreciate Is the Song

We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.

Measured, Not Marketing

We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.

Can't Have Quality Without Standards

Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

AI Generated Review Summary

The High-Key Stovepipe Jean by Mid Indigo offers a flattering high rise that accentuates the waist and provides a slim-leg silhouette. While many customers praise the fit for its comfort and tailored look, some have noted issues with the material's quality, describing it as flimsy and cheap.

My New Favorite Jeans… Worth Every Penny (and More!)

"I couldn’t be happier with these Everlane jeans! The quality is absolutely excellent—everything from the sturdy denim to the stitching feels premium and built to last. The fit is flattering, comfortable, and keeps its shape beautifully throughout the day. Honestly, at the sale price I snagged them for, they were an absolute steal. Everlane has truly nailed the perfect balance of craftsmanship, design, and value. These have quickly become my go-to jeans for any occasion. Highly recommend!"

I like the High rise.

"I like the High rise. Fabric is stretchy but the fit around hips is too tight and makes the fabric bunch between legs. It’s uncomfortable."

So soft and comfy

"Very happy with these jeans. Soft and fitted, but still hold their shape after wear. Wish there were more colors and maybe even a longer length option."

perfect jeans for petites!

"Beautifully stretchy jeans PERFECT FOR PETITES!!! i was so excited to find the shorter inseam that these jeans offered. I am 5feet 2" and weigh 150lbs. my hips are 37" and my wasit is 28" I ordered a 26 and they fit like a dream. They have the perfect amount of sretch and there is NO gapping!!!! i am oficially hooked on Overlane's jeans! Love that they are organic cotton as i transition my wardrobe to more sustainable organic materials."

Buffet jeans

"First of all these are soft jeans, feels like butta on the skin. I did size down and they do stretch out. I still love them. I wear an over size vintage shirt with the jeans. At my age hitting perimenopause with weight fluctuation and bloating these are great. These are not restricting in the waist when sitting down. Just a great pair of comfy jeans you can wear eating out to a buffet without the need to unbutton. Can't beat the price and quality."

"It’s long and has no shape as the material is thin. After wash also the material looses shape"

Disappointing material

"These are disappointing. The material for this high key stove pipe jean in black is not as nice as the material used for the high key wide leg jeans, for instance. This seems like a thinner material that stretches out more throughout the day and ends up looking a bit shapeless. I also don't care for the cut and think they are a bit dowdy. I would not buy these again."

Elizabeth B. (2/5)

"Loved the comfort fit and light denim used for these jeans! They fell just covering my loafers which is what i was seeking. I ended up sizing down and buying three pairs for mild Texas winters. Im 5ft5in, very curvy 165, the 29 fit is perfect vs stiffer denim Everlane size 30."
