"One of my new faves. I love the quality and a classic staple that will stay in my closet for years."
"The fit of this one didn’t work for me - a bit too tight in the hips and too loose in the waist. Bought it final sale, alas. I like the material and the pattern."
"This skirt looks great on at the start of the day, but in wearing it to my office job, I found that it develops deep wrinkles in the lap area after prolonged sitting. Some wrinkles are expected, but these were so deep that I've been deterred from rewearing in that context. Cute to wear out to a standing event though! I'm 130-135lbs, usually ~size 27, and size 2 fit nicely."
"There is lots of opportunity to dress up or down with this piece. It is a little thin but it washed well a I do like the fabric. I find it’s not a tuck in skirt for me and looks best with a similar sheen or longer sweater on top."
"Very pretty but almost impossible to get the wrinkles out"
"I wanted to love it because the color is beautiful but the unlined material was very thin (shows every bump and imperfection) and the cut fit oddly on me. There is a seem that goes across the skirt about 8-10 inches from the top that hit on my backside in an unflattering way. Maybe if you’re very slim this would work well for you. For reference, I’m 5’10”, 155lbs and although the 8 fit fine, I sized up to a 10 so it would hang longer on me."
"The hammered satin is gorgeous (albeit a little thin – like most of Everlane's products), as is the silhouette of the piece, but I'm disappointed with how easily this fabric wrinkles. Prepare to steam your skirt before every wear, unless you don't mind a rumpled look. Since this isn't an everyday item for me, I'm okay with that."
"Sadly, I returned this. The pink color is gorgeous but the construction is strange. . . there’s an interior panel of lining that only extends from the waist to the horizontal seam at hip level. That lining helps minimize panty lines (yes, visible even with Everlane’s invisible thong), but it can shift and scrunch in weird ways, which shows under the delicate silk. That, combined with the ability of silk to wrinkle if you look it it sideways, made this garment a no-go for me."
"The fabric, as others have noted, is lightweight, not what I’d generally consider “bottom weight” material. I knew this going in, as I have two pairs of the satin pull-on pants, made of the same material. The texture of the satin gives it a subtle, elegant sheen. I like how it hangs/flows and the length. I purchased the patterned black/white skirt and, although ideal for warm weather, I wear it, too, in cooler weather with leggings and/or boots. It is not “half-lined” as described; more like 1/3 lined, at the top. I took off one star because I would prefer the fabric be slightly thicker and that the lining extend further. Nonetheless, I like wearing this skirt and how the hammered satin fabric drapes and feels to the touch."
"I am so happy that these types of skirts are back with 90s core. This one is soft and well-made- I love the subtle texture. The waistband is comfortable and the length is perfect for boots. My waist is a S for Everlane but my hips are a M- I got a size 4 since it's not fitted through the hip and it fits well. The waist might run a tad small as my daughter (who is straight up and down with very slender hips but not as defined a waist) thought it ""just fit"" her waist when she borrowed it. She weighs less than me but I am more of an hourglass. We both wear 27 jeans (she often a 26). So it might run small in the waist. But the fact that a 16 year old wants to borrow it is saying that it looks cool:)."
