Reviews

Way Oversized; Rip-off with No Return Policy

"This was way oversized, and the description was not enough of a warning. On top of that, the company would not accept a return and refund. Feel the company was just getting rid of bad stock at the customer's expense. Will never do business with Everlane again. Not clear from ""Last Sale,"" that the company would not accept returns. Very confusing. I think they have changed the presentation since I purchased. Will be extra cautious whenever I see ""sale"" on any internet purchase. Well, you asked for my review. And here it is! Grrr!"

Great for pear shapes

"I rarely buy non-cropped blazers online because it is very difficult to find one that fits my shoulders/chest while also leaving hip room for my pear shape. It is so awkward when the back flaps of a blazer stick up near the butt because it is too small there — but that is not the case with this blazer! I bought my usual size for tops (0), and I may have been able to size down for a less boxy fit, but I like the boxiness (I don’t think it looks an unprofessional level of oversized, it just adds enough casualness for my comfort while still being work appropriate)."

Just No

"Blazer fits huge even sized down and has huge shoulder pads. Its oversizing does not look intentional but rather is not well proportioned and reminds me of when I was 12 years old and borrowed my fathers suit jacket for Halloween. Velvet is super thick and heavy where I would prefer something lighter abs softer. Got it on sake and can’t return."

Corduroy jacket

"This is a very nice jacket. Runs a little large so size down. Plan on wearing this with the dream pant and jeans. Beige colour is good, more like a taupe. Jacket a little heavy but that’s ok can wear in cooler weather or early spring. Don’t hesitate sale price is worth it."

Like an old friend!

"Being a true Gen X who came of age in the 80’s - I was thrilled with this blazer. It fits great - a bit roomy - and love it with faded jeans and white t-shirt done in a French tuck. Love this that 50 something gal can find style at Everlane!!!"

Perfection!

"Waited until I could afford this great blazer and it was certainly worth the wait. So versitile and incredibly well made. Thank you Everlane for offering such great traditional with an edge clothing!"

What's up with those shoulder pads?

"I have the navy corduroy way high waist pants and love them, so I was excited to get the blazer when it went on sale. Reading the reviews, I got a size smaller than my norm, and it fit beautifully. Then I looked in the mirror and saw those big ol' clunky 80s shoulders. Sigh. Returning it. Please rethink it Everlane. Keep the body of the blazer as it is and bring the shoulders into the 21st century."

Solid and very cute

"Solid construction, just like the matching trousers. Love the inside pocket. I found the sizing to be true-to-size, rather than oversized like a lot of Everlane's newer tops. I like the fitted look, however, because I'm slightly bottom-heavy there isn't much room for the last button to close. Just something to note."

Great boxy cord jacket that I can wear for years!

"Easy fit, able to wear a T-shirt, or sweater underneath. I plan on doing both. It’s just a cool jacket."
