Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"After trying several pairs I’ve found my perfect denim shorts! These actually hold their shape and don’t stretch out. The 3” inseam is perfect coverage on me (I’m 5’2”). They run true to size per their size guide. The leg opening isn’t tight but it doesn’t flare out like an A-line cut. More colors please!"
"They're great! They keep their shape, and are very comfortable and flattering. I wear mine all the time living in socal. They're now a staple in my wardrobe. I'd say they run a little small, I sized up 1 from my usual everlane size."
"The button is placed badly and is virtually impossible to open and close. Also, the bottoms of these jeans flare on the thighs and are not as pictured. Unfortunately I have to return them. It's not worth the cost to have them tailored."

"As a petite, these aren’t ideal as they seem to be cut for more of an average or tall women. I’m not talking about the inseam but about the proportions that gap and are just off. I will still wear them but they aren’t my favorite pair of denim jean shorts due to the fit. If you are under 5’3” I would not recommend"
"They feel like good quality denim. Great classic color. However, they're not a classic cut. They're an a-line cut just like all the other denim shorts on the market currently. Disappointed in that- especially when they already have a denim short they sell that's labeled a-line- I was so hopeful I found what I needed for my body type.
