$50 Luxury Cashmere Doesn't Exist

And those lies hurt everyone in the end. Here's why our honesty means better for you.

We Don't Skimp On Cashmere.

While others cut costs by knitting with looser tension—which means less cashmere for you—we do the exact opposite. Our tighter tension uses more cashmere in every piece, giving you extra warmth and helping it keep its shape.

No Cutting Corners Here.

No acrylic blends, no shortcut fillers. We keep our yarn pure—no padded blends like you see from others. They call it cashmere. We're calling their bluff.

Tested Often, Sold When Perfect.

Every piece goes through internal and third-party quality assessments—from yarn to finished garment—to ensure lasting color, soft handfeel, and quality that lives up to our standards.

Built To Outlive Fast Fashion.

Our wash formula balances a luxe handfeel with improved pilling performance and longevity. Coupled with premium construction and timeless design, each sweater is made to be worn and re-loved for years to come (see our Re:Everlane program).

A little bit sexy

"Oh this is an elegant jumper. The cashmere isn’t as soft as when I first started buying from Everlane back in the 2010s, but it still feels lovely. I love the open neckline. It feels flirty to be able to show some skin when most jumpers cover you up completely. You wouldn’t want to size up because this jumper should fit to you; it’s not an oversized design."

cute neckline but too big

"Bought this sweater in pink and black on final sale. I like the neckline but it is too big and itchy. I haven’t been able to wear it and will likely donate it."

Last time I buy final sale

"I'm giving this a full two stars because I like the design and general concept of this top. Unfortunately, the quality of the cashmere is quite rough, not quite the quality I've come to expect from Everlane. I also bought this final sale, which I've learned I won't do again with Everlane. It arrived obviously preworn, covered in cat hair and with a small hole in the sleeve. It was a disappointment, because even with the discounted price, this still wasn't a cheap top. $70 - for a hole in the top. Maybe something I'd expect for $15 at a thrift store - not buying new from a brand."

It's Okay

"It fits and hugs the curves very nicely. The muted cool-toned pink is very pretty. Unfortunately, it is quite itchy. I would get too irritated to wear this for a full day. The neckline is just a bit more revealing than I'd prefer. You have to be picky about what bra you wear with this, because if the straps aren't set wide enough, they are visible. On sale, it's not a terrible value for the money, but I can't really recommend it."

Sweater too thin and not soft enough for cashmere

"I was disappointed for the first time ever with Everlane. This cashmere is not luxurious enough - it is thin and not very soft though it is not scratchy. The cut was very good as always but the material was lacking the usual quality I expect."

Beautiful top

"Fits well, soft. It’s a light weight cashmere which suits the style. Neckline is beautiful. I wear it a lot."

Cute top though quality is less than expected

"I think this is a really cute and flattering top, and will definitely be wearing it out. It's a slim fit, and the neckline is flattering for someone with a larger bust. However compared to other cashmere I've purchased from everlane, the quality isn't as great. The fabric is much thinner, not as soft, and slightly scratchy (though not to the level I notice it strongly). I ordered both the black and pink one - I think the black one is quite nice, but the pink is a bit see through (I can see my beige bra through it). The pink is even more dusty coloured in person than in the image, which washes me out so I might return it (though it would likely suit those with a cool and muted colouration)."
