Button up, babes
This cardigan comes cropped—but not up short. With slightly-off shoulder armholes and sleeves and a body that flows into elongated ribbed hems, it’s made from a responsibly-sourced blend of 70% recycled cashmere and 30% cashmere. Layer with a tank or go bare and selectively unbuttoned if you’re feeling flirty. And those lies hurt everyone in the end. Here's why our honesty means better for you.
While others cut costs by knitting with looser tension—which means less cashmere for you—we do the exact opposite. Our tighter tension uses more cashmere in every piece, giving you extra warmth and helping it keep its shape.
No acrylic blends, no shortcut fillers. We keep our yarn pure—no padded blends like you see from others. They call it cashmere. We're calling their bluff.
Every piece goes through internal and third-party quality assessments—from yarn to finished garment—to ensure lasting color, soft handfeel, and quality that lives up to our standards.
Our wash formula balances a luxe handfeel with improved pilling performance and longevity. Coupled with premium construction and timeless design, each sweater is made to be worn and re-loved for years to come (see our Re:Everlane program).

"I love the color and the softness"
"I love the light heathered camel color. It's the epitome of today's quiet luxury vibe. The length is great because you don't have to tuck it, and the sleeves are cut a little more generous to make it stand out. Initially, I wasn't sure which size to pick, but the Small fits great -- skims the body without being snug, and allows for a T-shirt underneath if I so choose."
"This is the last thing I bought before the news broke re: the sale to SHEIN. Won’t ever shop at Everlane again."
"I was disappointed with this purchase. The cardigan is made with 70% recycled cashmere and the texture feels much less soft and fluffy compared to the 100% cashmere sweater I bought from Everlane years ago. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the price and I ended up returning both."
"The sweater is incredibly soft and versatile as a stand alone or layering piece. The shape is flattering and the slight puff sleeves and cuffs are a nice added detail in a sweater with clean lines. I’m broad shouldered with a straight build. Normally borderline between medium and large and the medium is a perfect fit for me."
"Love this piece. Such an effortlessly cool look. I like that this style is a little cropped and somewhat boxy. Great with denim. And as always everlane cashmere is top notch."
"I purchased this cashmere sweater in October and have worn it a total of four times. After very light wear, a small hole appeared in the fabric without any significant snag or stress. For a brand-new cashmere piece, this is extremely disappointing and points to a quality or durability issue. While the sweater is soft and attractive, I expected much better longevity at this price point. Unfortunately, this experience has made me hesitant to purchase cashmere from this brand again."
"perfect color for the spring!"
"I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect cardigan and this ticks all the boxes. I’m a true xs but I like the way the small drapes better so I sized up. The length is just right: grazes the top of my mid rise jeans and can be half-tucked into my high rises. I like wearing it without anything underneath and having the top and bottom two buttons unbuttoned, but it also looks great layered over a white tee. The cashmere is SO soft and the charcoal grey pairs well with everything. Sleeves are a little long but that doesn’t bother me. I rarely pay full price for anything but this sweater was worth it."
"Felt more like wool than cashmere, quite itchy and didn't seem worth the cost"
