Short torso & itchy cashmere
"I was excited to try this as the style was just what I was looking for at the right price. But after wearing it for about a week, I'm finding the torso is short - I keep pulling it down which is super annoying. Although I'm 5'9, I don't have a long torso. I am also finding the cashmere rougher compared to other brands. I would no recommend this and am already considering consigning this garment. Pretty disappointed."

"I absolutely love this polo sweater. Finally I found one without the usual dropped shoulder seam. This has a regular shoulder seam and comfortable boyfriend fit, not too oversized. It’s very cute with all the buttons open and a necklace peeking out. I hope Everlane will make it in more colours - burnt orange and olive green please!"

"It’s super soft on a thinner side but warm - it’s cashmere. I’d say it runs a bit small. I ordered my regular size Small which was a bit more fitted than I like. So exchange for a Medium which is relaxed fit. Buttons are a nice touch."

Don’t trust the reviews!!
"I rely on reviews to help my online shopping decisions. Granted reviews are opinions and opinions vary greatly based on personal experience. But I swear the reviews here are for a completely different item than what I got. I immediately came to comment on the sweater because I am so annoyed that I trusted the other reviews. For anyone who said that the sweater is soft, I truly wonder what your definition of soft is. As soon as I touched the sweater, I thought there was a mistake. It feels like thin scratchy merino wool. I had to check the tag to make sure it was cashmere. It feels itchy on my bare arms. And that takes me to my other complaint. Someone said the sweater was thick. No. This is the thinnest “cashmere” sweater I’ve ever had. If it was a light color, I’m sure it would be see-through. It’s so thin and I can’t get over how rough and scratchy it is. It really doesn’t feel like cashmere. Finally as is often the case with Everlane clothing, the cut is dated and unflattering. So many of Everlanes clothes are frumpy and this is the perfect example of a frumpy looking sweater. No matter how I style it, it just looks dated. It’s not cute. I got it on sale, but I don’t think it was worth the $63. Too bad I can’t return."
