Great pants but weird pockets

"I really like the soft/flow-y but not too voluminous shape and feel of these pants, BUT the pockets are made from a much heavier/stiffer fabric than the pants, and the seams stand out and are also positioned a bit strangely (for me at least). I wonder if this is true with all the colors, or if I got a strange pair? I'm also wishing they had belt loops, in case they stretch out with wearing. If that happened, I would end up needing to tailor them. I am not sure yet if I will keep these."
