Our new everyday Alpaca cardigan features a rib stitch in the body, and a chunky rib at the button placket, and a relaxed fit with a longer body—perfect for layering in cooler temps. It has all the warmth of a cozy winter knit with a plush, airy feel. Alpacas are lighter on the planet with their soft hooves and gentle grazing—making them easier on pastures than other herd animals. Our airy alpaca yarn is prickle-free, long-lasting, and pilling-resistant.

Wherever we can, we use recycled materials to lower our carbon footprint and reduce waste. Currently, 97% of the polyester and nylon we use comes from certified recycled sources. Using recycled materials repurposes resources, reduces inputs, and diverts would-be-waste materials away from landfills.

Renewed Materials

Our farms follow the 12 Provisions of Animal Welfare Quality to ensure that all animals are treated humanely. We perform periodic audits and use the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) and Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) to guarantee that all methods are being followed accordingly.

Animal Welfare

Everlane has been an RWS-certified brand since 2022. The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is a third-party verified certification standard that ensures responsible animal welfare and traceability through chain of custody measures. RWS-certified sheep farmers must meet strict animal welfare, land management, and social requirements. Each part of the supply chain is audited for compliance at least once per year.
