Currently, over 75% of our cotton use is certified organic. Using organic cotton means cleaner and lower water usage, lower pesticide use, healthier soil, and a safer working environment for cotton farmers, compared to conventional cotton production. We utilize Textile Exchange's Organic Content Standard (OCS) and other leading industry organic manufacturing standards to certify applicable products from farm to finished garment.

To manage the chemicals used in our global supply chain, we incorporate either bluesign®, GOTS, or GRS restricted-substance standards, all of which maintain restricted substance lists (RSLs) of harmful chemicals that are not permitted in the processing of our garments.

"the ACLU is doing good stuff, so i'm pleased to have supported them with this purchase. we really are all 100% human (some exceptions apply). the T is soft, seems to be well-made, and fits fairly well on my frame. as a tall guy, i do wish it was an inch or two longer, but it isn't a deal breaker. as a few others have mentioned, this isn't a true deep black, it looks pre-washed and very slightly faded. fine by me, i'm all for it, just something to be aware of if you're trying to stay truly monochrome. that's all! thanks, Everlane."
