A few design and manufacturing flaws

"It runs large so size down. But, I did, so that was no problem. This jacket maybe keeps light rain from soaking through for about 30 mins max. So, the ""waxed"" element seems non-existent. I definitely wish it was properly waxed because that would be a great design element! I asked Everlane about the ties in back. Parkas that you can tie around your legs have ties in the front and the back, and this jacket only has ties in the back. . . so they're ""fashion"" ties, which are also a huge miss on design because they hit the ground and soak up water if you crouch down (or I assume if you're shorter than me). The buttons (snaps) don't stay snapped, it takes very minimum force for them to come undone. The double zipper (two way) design is always a flaw in my opinion, so I don't know why they used it on this. It's sometimes hard to zip up due to it. I guess it's so you can unzip up to get to your pockets. I bought it to keep my pants pockets dry during light rain. I tried it out today and it failed to do this! My pockets were wet after a 45 min walk. I'd return if I could. I may just donate it. It wasn't even worth it at the sale price. I should've just bought something I knew would work!"

Fantastic Parka

"Love this Parka. Great color. Like all fishtail parkas you need to check the measurements as they normally run a size larger."

KelB (5/5)

great coat

"I feel like a bass player in a post punk band from England in this jacket. It runs a little big in the body but that is by design."

Great M65-inspired parka

"Definitely an oversized fit, but as it’s meant to be. Great for layering with a button-down and sweater. Cinch-able waist and button-adjustable cuffs are a nice addition. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments."

Beanjaro (5/5)

outstanding coat

"Not a terribly heavy waxed jacket, but still warm. Great topcoat for layering. The fit is a bit loose, so while i normally go with a large, i ordered a medium and it fits great with a sweater. Nicely made, great silhouette, drapes well."

Not Waterproof.

"Why is this ""tough weather"" jacket not waterproof? I don't understand the purpose, as it looks and fits like a rain jacket. Is it that much harder to make it waterproof? Please consider. If something is not waterproof, please mention this in the description."
