The ReNew Transit Weekender is fully featured—padded laptop sleeve, two water bottle holders, exterior zip pocket, luggage handle pass-through (that's also a pocket), and multiple ways to carry: crossbody, shoulder, or in-hand. Oh, and it’s made using 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles.* *The zipper sliders and some of the pulls are metal, but other zipper pulls are recycled polyester. The only new plastic is for the zipper coil (teeth), which is not made from recycled material—yet. We’ve eliminated 90% of the virgin plastic from our supply chain. "This is a nice quality bag with plenty of room for a weekend getaway or to use as a carry-on for airlines. There are plenty of pockets for organization, too. The bag is lightweight which is important, if you want to fill it. I got this bag for my college-aged daughter for when she takes Amtrak home and to campus. She likes it. She complained her LuluLemon tote kept sliding off her shoulder. The crossbody strap on this bag solved that problem."

"I ordered the black transit weekender and I feel it’s great quality material. It has a nice pocket on the side and love that it can slide over my luggage. Very roomy inside. My negatives, I wish the strap was removable and the side padded pocket was wider. My 14” computer does not fit and that was the main reason I purchased it. I’m keeping it since it holds a lot and my computer can fit in between a few clothes."

"I wish the laptop pocket had more padding and a tab or something to hold the laptop in place. Or that it was bigger as it’s hard to fit a laptop with a sleeve into it."
Good bag held back by lack of standard features.
"Overall this is a good bag, but it does have a few issues. The biggest being that the shoulder strap is not detachable - why? Using the same material the could easily have added strap hooks to allow the strap to be detached and stowed like just about every other bag of this type, but instead it's hard sewn on. Big miss there. The laptop sleeve is also weirdly loose. It's perfectly fine for a standard laptop, but if you have something thin like a tablet or macbook air, it's going to flop around in the bag, which isn't ideal but also not a deal breaker. Also - no keyring clip. Why. WHY. It's 2024, why does ANY bag come without a key clip? HUGE MISS. So now positives! In terms of space it's great, and the material is fantastic. It's rigid and tough like nylon, making it more stain repellant and durable. It feels more like a backpack material, and less like a puffer jacket like a lot of other bags. The luggage sleeve has a bottom side zipper allowing it to double as an easy access pocket, which is a nice use of space. It's easily on par with other comparable bags from Vuori, CalPak, Dagne Dover, and even Tumi from a space and footprint perspective, but only Tumi uses a material this durable. Overall, it punches way above it's weight but could've been absolutely perfect with some very minor and obvious quality of life changes."

"Best travel bag. Large trolley sleeve holds the bag securely on luggage handle, without flopping around. Ideal size to hold plenty yet fit under seat. Just the right amount of pockets, not too many yet enough to stay organized. Fabric is durable, dirt/water resistant, and wipes clean easily. And, it is nice looking!"
