Quality

"Very nice winter coat. Has a lot of nice quality details, such as the interior material of the pockets. Pretty perfect weight imo, in that it's hefty enough without feeling heavy. The main zipper is a little chunky, and fastens right to left instead of vice versa for some reason, but it's manageable enough once you get used to it. So yeah, great jacket all in all!"

Good jacket, awful zipper

"Bought my partner the black and blue versions of the jacket. They're warm (not as warm as CG) and do the job on cold winter walks with the dog. The downside to this jacket is the zipper. They're just awful. 90% of the time, my partner can't get the zipper to work. The zipper doesn't align together in order to get it going to zip. I've noticed with the most recent jackets (womens and mens) that the finishings aren't as high quality as they used to be."

Almost perfect

"Very comfortable, super warm, the fit is great. Only issue is the zipper, as others have mentioned. It is very finicky. But I think I've figured it out and now I can usually get it in 1-3 tries. Still quite an annoying oversight, though, especially when you step outside and are instantly cold and have to fumble with getting your coat zipped up. That said, I would still recommend it and buy it again."

Excellent Quality and Very Warm

"This parka is fantastic. I'm 5'10"" and 150 lbs, and the small fits perfectly as it has a roomy design. It is incredibly warm; however, I have yet to wear it on sub 20' Fahrenheit. The zipper is a little tricky, but it is manageable when you learn how to line it up correctly. The color is accurately demonstrated in the pictures."

Warm High-Quality Parka, Solution for Zipper

"The Renew Long Parka is super comfy and heavy duty. It's like wearing an insulating sleeping bag. Purchased mine for a fantastic sale price. Many have complained about the zipper, but the trick I found that works in seconds is to focus on the left side where the zipper tab is. Insert the tab into to top zipper pull, then pull down firmly on the LEFT side. No need to align the 2 zipper pulls. This positions the tab in the correct position at the base of the bottom zipper. You may even hear a slight click, then you can pull the top zipper up without any problems. When unzipping the jacket, pull the top zipper pull all the way down then pull up again on the left side. Guaranteed to work."

Zipper is difficult to maneuver.

"I bought two of these parkas. One for me and one for my son. I was very excited to use it yesterday such a cold day in NYC. But it took me a long time to figure out how to zip it up. And I still can’t. It’s come and go. I tried my son’s, it’s the same story. I am totally bummed. Can’t return these things because I bought them in clearance."

Just what I was looking for

"It is just perfect. I can just wear a t-shirt below during London winter and still feel warm and comfortable, with enough room for movement."

Great coat Rough zipper

"I have figured out the zipper! For anyone who sees this or is thinking of buying the coat. Many people complained about the zipper and I thought “Surely I can figure this out,” Well the zipper is as bad as people say it is. It is nearly impossible to zip standing up! BUT, you can zip it fairly easily by doing this: Put the coat on, SIT DOWN, do not sit ON THE COAT. Pull it he back up to your waist. Now line the zippers up and guide the tab into both zippers. You will hear a sort of subtle “click” when lined up right. I’ve been able to do this repeatedly and consistently. Hope this helps!"

""it's like being in bed""

"Bought for husband, he loves it, finds excuses to wear it around the house. Genuinely very insulating, he loves the fleece pockets. Seems like it'll be good for the coldest months in England. Fits well, the Everlane sizing chart is accurate. Seems high quality and hope it'll last for many years."
