Great blazer

"True to size"

Ruwan R. (5/5)

Terrible Fit for the Price, No Accountability

"I'm incredibly disappointed in Everlane, and this blazer, especially considering their $200 price point and reputation for quality basics. For a product that's sold as ""classic tailoring with a little extra thrown in"", the tailoring is so absolutely dreadful you wonder if they literally just threw the fabric at a sewing machine and hoped for the best. There's simultaneously too little fabric and too much of it. When buttoned, the blazer pulls uncomfortably across the torso, creating an unflattering silhouette yet, the shoulders bunch up. The sleeves are ridiculously wide, giving off an almost comical oversized look that is not what ""classic tailoring"" stands for in my book. When I contacted customer service and even sent a video demonstrating these obvious fit issues, they responded that the blazer was ""not defective. "" By responding this way, I guess Everlane stands by the product. For a brand that constantly emphasizes their attention to detail and superior construction, this is a shocking failure. The combination of pulling fabric when closed and bunching at the shoulders suggests poor pattern-making that Everlane apparently stands behind as intentional design. I have a much better-fitting blazer from Uniqlo at half this price. At the final sale price of $47, I thought this was a good find since I have other Everlane products, it turns out it's an unwearable blazer; it almost feels like a trap honestly. Invoking the final sale policy, Everlane has made it clear they won't take responsibility for their inability to properly tailor a blazer. What's more, they suggested I resell it on Poshmark! Basically, create a chain of innocent buyers fooled by Everlane's purported standards. . ."

Chino Blazer

"Hangs crooked on me. Cheap quality. I am so disappointed. I would have just let the company know with out a review, but the email they sent was a no-reply email and had no listing for customer service."

Pretty decent

"I received compliments on it. It pairs very well with the performance chinos. I wish it was a little more fitted, though."

too big

"way too big; very different from online images. disappointed"

first impression is disappointing

"straight out of the bag this purchase was a miss. it was dirty (dried mud stains or dust?) and seemed used and/or abused. doesn't seem actually 'damaged' and this was labeled final sale so i was made to think that i should just keep my mouth shut but it has definitely put me off the everlane brand. fit seems ok for a casual/loose/sloppy blazer and i knew what it was when i bought it. but i will say the sleeve length is a bit excessive for the average person. i expect to need some tailoring on sleeve length but these sleeves wouldn't fit anyone that typically fits the size bracket. i am hoping that i can clean up the dirt and get this functional but a big disappointment for my first everlane purchase."

Great casual blazer

"This is a CASUAL blazer (no breast pocket, slim lappels) but a really good one. For reference I´m 1. 73 m and 74 kg and size Small was a good fit, a little snug in the arms and the sleeve lenght will have to be shortened, but that is always the case for me (short arms). The blazer is unlined except for the sleeves. The fabric feels sturdy, maybe a little ticker than expected, but not stuffy and the stretch is there and is a welcome feeling (no movement restriction at all). For a casual blazer this is a great piece."

Great casual blazer for work or play

"Slight stretchy, good color and feel overall. Still new, so working to understand how to best wear/use this new piece, but early returns are good."
