Using recycled recycled animal fibers in our garments lowers our raw material carbon emissions by over 90%, compared to virgin animal fibers. The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) sets requirements for third-party certification to ensure that wool comes from farms that manage their land with a progressive approach, practice holistic respect for the sheep, and follow the Five Freedoms of animal welfare. The standard also maintains a strong chain of custody for certified materials as they move through the supply chain to guarantee visibility, protect soil health, biodiversity, and native species on all RWS farms, as well as adhere to strict social welfare practices for the health and safety of workers.

"Met my expectations. Soft fabric, relaxed fit drapes nicely on my frame, pretty much exactly like the product photo. Not bulky, but a little thicker and feels more substantial than my last Everlane cashmere sweater, which I really appreciate. I like the texture too, but it's really not hefty enough for deep winter warmth like a real fisherman's sweater. Which is fine, because that's what I wanted. Versatile color goes well with pretty much anything, and wearable fall through spring here in the US northwest. Very pleased so far. Will try to keep my cat's claws away from the weave."

"I'd copy the models in this one -- wearing a t shirt underneath it makes it much more comfortable. It's certainly soft, but compared to some of Everlane's pure cashmere, it's a tad bit less comfy. It runs a little big (i'm 5'11"", 155 lbs. ) compared to most Everlane things, but that's pretty clear from the photos :) Great purchase."
