"Loved the look and colour of this coat. But it was quite large for a large and the cut at the bottom was angled and didn’t sit right. I brought it to my dressmaker where she moved the button so it was less oversized and I could still wear a heavier and she cut the bottom to a 3/4 length coat and that has made quite a positive difference. I’m pleased the coat was on sale as I had to spend extra money to have it look and fit properly. It wasnt possible to return as it was a final sale and I would have returned it. It looks quite nice now but still wasn’t my best Everlane purchase which are generally wonderful."
The perfect coat!
"This coat is perfect and warm! It is super soft and looks so elegant. The only thing is I would have lifted the button a bit or even have added one to stay warmer on the east coast. It definitely runs large so I would size down, even for an oversized look."

Beautiful coat, but disappointed it isn't lined
"I had previously purchased a beige coat from you that I love. When my old black coat started falling apart, I decided to try a black coat from you as well. This black coat was the only one you had up for sale, so I purchased it with looking closely at the description. I didn't realize it wasn't lined. I am allergic to wool (lanolin), so the lining is important. Now, I can only wear it if my clothes fully cover my arms, which is unfortunate."

"I am a slight inverted triangle. So I don't like most peacoats, which tend to add more bulk on my shoulders and make my hips look too slim. This peacoat is perfect for my shape. The deep v-neck and side pockets are so flattering. Just layer with thick tanks though, because the chest is more exposed. The wool feels so soft- great quality."
Fits great/love recycled wool
"This coat is exactly what I was hoping it would be. You can dress it up, or dress it down. Fits true to size. Great for spring or fall weather. Love that it is recycled wool. Keep up the good work Everlane please keep using recycled wool for your items."
