We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.

"LOVE that this was updated to include a zipper instead of buttons (though I didn't mind them before). The Way-Highs have always been my favorite jean from Everlane, and the zipper update was the cherry on top. Great quality and thick denim, perfect for shoulder season weather that isn't quite cold but not warm either."
Disappointed with fit
"Unfortunately the crotch and waistband are far too big. My fault for gambling on a final sale item via the internet. I can wear these with an oversize sweater but little else. They're cute, so I may spring to get them altered. My other disappointment is the jeans' incredibly chemical smell. I don't think I've ever had worse from a new clothing item. I've washed three times and it's still there. Very odd and disconcerting. :("
