Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. Easy to care for at home, washes well and maintain its shape. This modern classic will absolutely be worn in years to come. "I wear a 28 in all Everlane pants. I have a pair of these curve jeans in the Ecru color, size 28, and they fit perfectly. I was so excited to order another pair, this time in the Pure Blue. I just got them and I could barely button them- there is no way I could wear these. They run maybe two sizes too small in this color. I’m not sure if I should send back for a larger size or maybe just received a one-off defected pair."
