The ReNew 15" Transit Backpack features a 15" exterior laptop pocket for easy TSA access, catch-all zip pockets for passports and tickets, interior slip pockets for magazines and notebooks, one interior and one exterior water bottle holder, a handy magnetic closure, and a pass-through strap that attaches to rolling luggage. Oh, and it’s made using 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles.* *The zipper sliders and some of the pulls are metal, but other zipper pulls are recycled polyester. The only new plastic is for the zipper coil (teeth), which is not made from recycled material—yet. We’ve eliminated 90% of the virgin plastic from our supply chain. "I really like this backpack, and I've been looking for a new one for a while now. It's got a great shape and design, and while it is large enough that I won't always use it for everyday, it's terrific for travel and for times I want to safely carry my laptop and other gear, a couple of extra layers of clothing, water bottle, and more. I'm also impressed that it was selected by Wirecutter in the New York Times recently for its great function and design."

"So far the bag has held up very well to daily use and extensive travel. The zippers are smooth, there are enough pockets and it holds everything I need when traveling. The top magnets don't always fit when packed to the brim so the top flap can get in the way with a breeze and the fabric is not very water repellent."

Switching from a shoulder carry travel bag to make walking between connections more comfortable, but not look like a hiking pack. Fits under the seat. Proportioned well for my 5'4" height. Straps are comfortable and the top handle allows the pack to be easily carried on/off the plane. Details missing for me are strap keepers to keep the straps from dangling and security loops on zippers."
