Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"I bought these jeans in 2019. They’ve held up and aged beautifully, unbelievable quality. I chose to review them now in the big 2026 because I’m simply amazed at how long they’ve lasted. I got a size 28 and I fluctuate between 150-170lbs at 5’7”. No piling or rips all these years and I have no reason to believe they won’t last me another 7 years. "My favorite jean in the 26" length. They lean classic, but look great whether I'm dressing for work or leisure. I find these fit a bit slim, but look great with an oxford shirt and the Everlane boss boot or the Everlane black hoodie with a pair of white sneakers. Really love the original cheeky jean and have in lots of colors. Great deal from Everlane!"
"These are really nice jeans. They are heavier than expected but soft with lots of give and will be all seasons jeans. I am in between sizes so I sized up but I probably could have sized down. I generally wear a size 12-14. I am 5'4", 160+ lbs and I bought a size 33 but size 32 would have worked. I do prefer a loose fit anyway and I can still wear them and I don't have to worry about them shrinking in the wash."
"Great jeans. Comfortable and look good. I found that I was between two sizes though because the 29 seemed to sag a little and the 28 felt a little too constricting around my waist. Maybe the smaller needs to be broken in?"
"Greetings - I have many pairs of the original cheeky jean but size 28. Since I've gone up a size, I'm ordering 29s. So I ordered this in a 29 (great price, and the style of jeans I used to order all the time), but it didn't seem any larger than the 28. Maybe I'm deceiving myself and have gained more weight than I thought (!!), but compared to the other 29s I've been ordering from you, they seemed a lot tighter. I think you are phasing out this style. I bought it because I have loved them in the past, the price was great, and you had the size I wanted (29)."
"Size: 28 | Washed Black | 28.5" Inseam Overall, these are super comfy! Definitely as advertised in that regard. Typically, I'm a size 27, but I went with a size 28 since I have had some weight fluctuation in recent months. I wish I had gone with a 27 instead. Maybe it's the color (washed black) that makes these looser? I wish it were easier to predict how different washes would fit upon arrival. That has always been my one qualm with Everlane denim. Otherwise, this is still my favorite place to buy denim for the quality+price combination. I am 5'-8," and the 28.5" inseam is the perfect length for colder weather."

"Love these jeans, but no matter what I do (cold water, inside out, airdry, etc. ) my black jeans always get white line marks and it is so frustrating. This is my second pair that's had this issue and it's a bummer because I love the fit and original black coloring."
