That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"These fit well in the waist and hips, and are comfortably loose from there. Shirts/ Ts / sweaters look good tucked in or out. They keep their shape during the day and into the next. I wear them a lot more often than anticipated because they look good and are easy to wear."

They offer to replace the item and send it again, they did and then cancelled the order because they said they were out of stock. What a waste of time, this brand really became something else after being bought by shein....Never again will I buy anything else form here, after being such a loyal costumer!"

"Not all barrels are created equal, apparently. I have the Everywhere pant, which Is also described as a barrel shape, and I love the fit of those. I was hoping these would be the same, just in denim. Nope. They are tight through the hips and in the crotch/leg opening. They actually become really uncomfortable if I am sitting for an extended period because the fabric bunches up and digs in at the top of the leg. Then there's about 4-5 extra inches around the waist. They were also 2-3 inches longer than the Everwhere pant, even though the photos make them look about the same."

My only complaint would be I find the crotch to be tight/uncomfortable when sitting (perhaps due to having a bigger bum??) even though I sized up and they're loose through the waist. I have another pair of Everlane's similar to these which fit kind of the same so perhaps it's just the cut, but my Gardener's don't pull this way so not totally sure. Anyway, overall I really like them, but would love them even more if this minor issue got fixed for the next round."
