"I bought this in black, size XS, final sale. I’m 5’3” 120 lbs. I probably wouldn’t have kept it due to the oversized style if I paid regular price. But at this very good final sale price, it’s worth it. It is definitely oversized. I plan to wear this unbelted as a coverup and belted as a nice casual dress. Only the front is lined which as other reviewers mentioned. In black, this dress doesn’t even need the lining. I do think the lining adds a bit more structure to the skirt portion which helps it looks a little nicer. The shape of the sleeves is very pretty. Excellent quality linen as with all Everlane linen."

Oversized summer dress

"Great linen fabric perfect for warm weather. I took my regular size M and it is very very oversized but I live in a tropical climate and for me this style and look is a personal preference for hot days. The sleeves behave strangely when you lift your arms as they get stuck and I need to rearrange them. The lining is really puzzling. . . only a portion on the front."

Why the half lined outfit?

"The quality of the linen is lovely and the design is great. Perfect for summer. The only thing that took serious points off for me is that the dress is only lined in the front. . . no lining at the back. So beware - while you think you look decent from the front. . . it could be a hot mess from the back. Not sure what the design team was thinking, but this is comically a fail for me. Worse its a sale item so no return. . . ."

Great Dress!

"My friend had this dress over the summer and I fell in love. I am normally a 12-14 in pants and a L in tops. I got the M because she said it ran really big. I am a 36E bra size and the top is a teeny bit tight but it fits great everywhere else and I think the overall fit makes up for the top being just a tad tight. Definitely size down I'd say. I loooove the linen fabric and the length is so nice. Sleeves aren't overly poofy."

"This is a dress you could wear every day. I wish the neckline was not quite so plunging or so wide and that the lining went all the way around instead of just in the front. The fabric is high quality. The dress is loose and comfortable. i like the dress well enough that I bought it in 2 colors."

"I love them. I have it in black and bone. Fit is exactly as pictured. Very loose and breezy. Casual but can be dressed up with accessories. True to size at shoulders and chest. The rest of the dress is very flowy and the front is lined so no seeing thru the fabric. These are my favorite grab and go dresses for summer"

"I don’t know why Everlane gets their sizing so wrong for their linen dresses. This dress is super comfortable and high quality but it runs large in an unflattering way. I’ll have to wear it since it was on final sale and I can’t return it."
